Common Cold Hack and GIFT giveaway

The Common Cold Hack or Garlicky Hummus was born out of necessity.   Do you like to have the common cold?, I don’t know anyone that does.   When I had the cafe, we couldn’t be sick and work, so preventing cold bugs was very important.  As soon as someone in the kitchen got the first whiff of a cold, where we started to feel achy…well.. watch the video and find out what we did.

Please watch the video and have a bit of a laugh.  The video you will notice does not have very good editing, (I did it).  I decided to post it anyway because it isn’t about beauty or perfection,  it is about showing up every day and laughing a bit at ourselves.  Besides the lousy editing, tell me in the comments section below what 1) ingredient you think I added too much of?  2) what remedy do you use for the common cold?   I will send a microplane zester to the first person who emails me with the right answer to question #1!  Giveaway will expire on February 26, 2017.

The purpose of this recipe is not to serve at a family gathering; it is to stop the common cold in its tracks.  It is important to do this when you are just beginning those cold symptoms.  I don’t know how helpful it would be if you have had your cold for several days.

What common cold remedies have you found that works for you? And what mistakes have you been able to laugh about later?   Please comment below, I read every one of the comments and I will respond to your questions.

This recipe is no guarantee it will chase away the cold and the recipe is not medical advice.  Please seek a physician for any medical concerns.
